A modern residential, retirement community for senior citizens has been created in Dorfen and BFA has provided essential communication at the core of the building’s development. The building has been designed so that the residents are able to gather and meet up at any time of the year, both inside and outside. The four-story building takes into account the surrounding environment and architectural structures, and enables connection to both the accompanying street as well as the parkland around the back of the building. The individual apartments are designed to be compatible with the personalized needs of the retired. The wooden, slatted façade is structured to allow both ample daylight to flow inside and also to gaze outside at the lush, landscaped outside grounds.
