Just opposite of the University of Technology and Economics, directly on the Spree, is a one hundred and twenty unit residency halls for students, designed by BFA. In order to make optimal use of the deep-set building plot, two structures were positioned over a continuous basement. The ground floor houses the reception area, common rooms, and bicycle storage spaces. Comfortable residential units for both individuals and couples were built on the upper floors. The two structures are visually held together by horizontal bands, which allows for a division of the balconies and windows.
