Melchiorstraße, Berlin
InformationXIn the Luisenstadt district in Berlin’s Mitte borough, just a few hundred meters from the southern bank of the Spree River, BFA proposes an integrative and sustainable residential building in wood-hybrid construction. Equipped with a Yakisugi wood facade, the building is intended to aesthetically complement the historic block development along Melchiorstraße and simultaneously create an innovative gateway for the newly emerging residential quarter to the rear. The beautiful 3- to 5-room apartments with spacious balconies, as well as the integrated townhouses with their own gardens, feature flexible floor plans that can be adapted to changing life circumstances. The eastern adjacent access to the additional future residential buildings will be designed with a promenade character and framed by aesthetic and diversely landscaped green spaces.
